# 5-minute quickstart

Your first check, with a key anyone can use. Nothing to install, nothing to pay.

## Try it without code

Paste a token or a wallet address and see the real answer.

## 1. Take the public key

This key is printed here on purpose. It works on the sandbox (`staging.lorglabs.com`), which runs every check on live Base and Ethereum data. It allows 10 checks a minute for each caller and 1,000 a day shared by everyone, which is enough to try it.

## 2. Make a check

Ask about DEGEN on Base, for a $500 trade:

For a wallet you are about to pay, use `/v1/check/quick` with the wallet's address.

## 3. Read one word

The answer, shortened:

| `action` | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| **Allow** `proceed` | Go ahead. |
| **Caution** `limit_exposure` | Go in small, or ask the user first. The risks are in `reasons`. |
| **Block** `do_not_proceed` | Don't. Show the `summary`. |
| **Unknown** status `503` | Not verified: don't trade on it. Ask again after `Retry-After` seconds. |
